Third of a series of exhibitions on the cultural exchange between Delft, The Netherlands and Jingdezhen, China.
Pepijn has made the (graphic-) design and decoration for this exhibition together with curator Adriaan Rees.
Yuan Chonghuan Memorial Park in Dongguan April-June 2014
The Blue Revolution exhibition in the Yuan Chonghuan Memorial Park is based on a four-year-long collaboration and artist in residence programme with eight Dutch and Chinese ceramic artists in Delft and Jingdezhen.
The exhibition series takes you on a journey through art and ceramics, but also on a journey through the history of both cities, a journey in 400 years of history of exchange of ceramics and technics between China and the Netherlands. In addition to the ceramic objects, there is also a unique way to share in the experiences of, and draw inspiration from the artists.
Participating artists: Jiansheng Li, Wan LiYa, Zhang Ling Yun, Pepijn van den Nieuwendijk, Tineke van Gils, Pauline Wiertz, Hugo Kaagman,Chris Dagradi, Adrie Huisman, Wendy Steenks en Adriaan Rees.
