For over a decade Pepijn made illustrations for the internal magazine of the Dutch Service penitentiaries (DJI) from the Ministry of Justice. The magazine is called Balans.
An Exhibition with more than 50 illustrations Pepijn did for magazine Balans was shown at the gevangenismuseum Veenhuizen in 2013 and 2014.
